Need help with your Digital Marketing this Summer? Here’s three easy fixes

Summer is the season for sharing on social, especially when it comes to vacation pictures. Incorporate this fun summer feeling into your social media strategy by following my three tips below. Digital marketing is something that no business can ignore when it comes to making it successful. In today’s blog, I’ll give you three things you can do this summer to help attract more customers to your business.

What is digital marketing?

Digital marketing, also called online marketing, refers to all marketing efforts that occur on the internet. Businesses leverage digital channels such as search engines, social media, email, and other websites to connect with current and prospective customers. This also includes communication through text or multimedia messages.

There could be a number of reasons you need help with digital marketing. You may have lack of direction and no definite purpose. You don’t know enough about your online customers. You are not optimizing the content already existing on your website.

Have you identified with several of these signs? Don’t worry. There’s still time to change and be able to put together a successful digital marketing strategy!

1. Boost post shares and conversions by using summer-themed content

A summer-themed blog post is a great way to provide helpful advice or tips to your social media followers while getting your business in front of potential customers. For example, a retail store could write a blog post about how to find the perfect summer outfit. A restaurant could write a blog post about summer grilling tips.

Just be sure to optimize.

This includes using relevant keywords within your content, using a robust internal linking structure, and using alt tags and meta descriptions that give images the best chance of ranking.

2. Sharing seasonal videos during the summer

Post photos and videos of your staff having fun. Customers love to see a business that’s authentic and one where employees enjoy working. If your company has a Friday afternoon potluck, beach barbeque, or summer company picnic, post photos or videos of the action so prospective clients would be inspired to join your team.

3. Get Involved in a Charity Event Like a Beach or Park Clean-up

Businesses can use charitable events to show their commitment to the local community. Participating in a clean-up day at the local beach or park is a great way to get involved and show that your business cares about the environment and the community.

Charitable events also provide marketing benefits for your business.

By showing your commitment to important causes, you will quickly build a positive reputation and attract clients who share your values.
